Privacy policy

What we collect

We collect only what you give us and a few details about how you reached the site:

• Contact details you enter in a form: name, email, phone number and ZIP code. Commercial inquiries can also include your organization, city, project type, capacity, timeline and a message.
• Your sauna choices when you use Design Your Dream Sauna, the estimate we show you, and any dimensions or details you send with a custom footprint request.
• How you found us: the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and campaign tags or ad click IDs in the link you followed (such as UTM tags, gclid or fbclid).
• Basic usage information collected by analytics tools, such as pages viewed and the type of device and browser.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your inquiry, call you about your project, prepare quotes, schedule builds, deliveries and rentals, and follow up with you. We also use it to understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us so we can improve the site and our advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information saved in your browser

Design Your Dream Sauna saves your progress in your browser so you can pick up where you left off. Drafts hold only your sauna choices, never your contact details, and are kept for 30 days.

After you request a quote, the browser also keeps that quote and the contact details you sent with it for 30 days, so you can reopen “Your Quote” later. It stays on your device and is not shared with other sites. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

How you reached the site (landing page, referrer and campaign tags) is kept for your browsing session only.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics and advertising tags, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta. These services may use cookies or similar technology to measure visits and to tell us when someone who clicked an ad later contacts us. You can limit this with your browser settings, Google’s Ad Settings, Meta’s ad preferences, or a tracking blocker.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that run our business and this website:

• Vercel, which hosts the website.
• Supabase, which stores the inquiries and quotes you send us.
• Resend, which delivers our internal email alerts about new inquiries.
• Google and Meta, for the analytics and advertising described above.
• ResortForward, which runs the booking and payment form on our Rental page. Their privacy policy covers what you enter there.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and quote records for as long as we need them to work with you and to run our business, and we delete them when they are no longer needed or when you ask us to, unless we must keep them by law.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email paul@montanasaunacompany.com and we will respond promptly.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
