About Us
At the heart of our endeavor is to bring sauna culture and the profound health benefits to the forefront of our community. We believe in making premium saunas, at a fair price, to last a lifetime. Our founder, inspired by a pivotal experience in Oslo, Norway, witnessed first hand the remarkable healing potential of contrast therapy and the cultural tradition spanning generations.
Following an impressive collegiate football career that led to an opportunity in the NFL, Caleb Kidder, found himself hanging up the cleats and seeking a new career and purpose. After 4 years in business, Montana Sauna Company, has helped shape that purpose. An opportunity to support his growing family and the families of our employees and partners.
It is an honor to employ hard working Montanans and hand craft products that delight customers with serene, therapeutic spaces that embrace the time-honored tradition of sauna therapy. Thank you for supporting us in our mission.
Getting Started
After returning from Norway, our founder dove into research and craftsmanship, building saunas for friends and family. Through these projects, a deep passion for the art and intricacy of sauna design and construction blossomed. In 2022, Montana Sauna Company was born, quickly expanding to deliver saunas across Montana, Idaho, and beyond. Our dedicated team of 3 is expanding to 5, and our capacity to produce wonderful saunas continues to increase. We are proud to serve customers nationwide (except HI), and with each delivery we get to meet wonderful people who are investing in their health and wellness and sharing the innate power of saunas with their families and friends.

“We are thrilled to have a custom built sauna at our home, which was completed in early January 2025. From the first time we interacted with Caleb, he was knowledgeable, professional, and showed a great deal of passion for the project and the benefits of sauna therapy. Caleb finalized the build as expected, was timely, and communicative throughout. Caleb has become a friend of our family – hard to find that caliber of business owners. Caleb’s team (Bob and Dre) were additionally courteous, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have around during the build. We have experienced firsthand the many benefits of sauna therapy, it has truly changed our lives for the better. We recommend reaching out to Caleb and inviting a sauna into your space – he is a true craftsman.”
“We had an old small wood burning sauna and a dream of building a new one. Caleb listened to all our quirky ideas and together with Bob, built us a new amazing space. Such great humans, spreading sauna love and culture. We absolutely recommend Montana Sauna Company.”
